Preciso confessar uma coisa pra vocês: muita gente me conhece porque eu despontei discotecando 80 e portanto acham que eu sou 80’s addicted. Isso é uma meia-verdade: adoro o som, a moda e o way of life dessa época. Mas como minha cútis lisa e meus camisões xadrez podem indicar, eu sou um fruto, ainda não muito passado, da Geração X. E eu tenho uma quedinha pelos anos 90. Se fosse um filme, não seria o favorito de quase ninguém, mas seria lembrado por algumas de suas falas e pela trilha sonora.
Adoro as listas da VH1 (respondendo a algumas perguntas, não… eu não trabalho na VH1) e a lista das 100 maiores músicas dos anos 90 foi bem especial pra mim pois, além dos motivos óbvios, tive a oportunidade de assistir a primeira hora do programa com uma pessoa especial em uma viagem fantástica (pra minha felicidade, assisti os demais episódios hoje… que a gravação recorrente do SKY HD seja louvada! Eu ouvi um amém?), quando estava pensando em postar essa lista. E despertou algumas vontades/idéias pra tocar dia 21 (flyer no site do meu sócio, DJ Julio Frei).
Como todos os VH1 Top 100’s, a linguagem é bem humorada e a lista foi feita baseada em votações nos Estados Unidos, portanto não se sinta um alien se você não conhecer alguma coisas… mas vá clicando: deve ter umas 99 que valem a pena.
